Apartment search

Oh yeah, How can I forget to mention the apartment search I have been into for last month or so. Started living with Deepak to start with, shifted to Anand's later on, and now looking out for an apartment like crazy. Guess this lazing around will take me down. Though I have asked lots and lots of friends to be on the lookout for an apartment for me, but so far it has been fruitless. Hoping this weekend will yield some results, if someone graces this poor soul, and helps out in finding one.
Amen!

The Holy Grail...

Too many people have notified it too many times to me that I have become too negligent, and too busy to make any posts around here. Now then, lets try and make it up for all the lost times, and make up with a relatively lengthier post - if it makes sense.
Well, here's about Grail, where I am working on a few projects. To start with, the firm is another start-up, but my role is kind of different as it was in my previous stint. However, its fun in terms of variety of work that is there to do. And obviously, the kind of people in the firm are just not something I can describe in words - class apart, so to say!
Anyhow, the first 10 weeks in the firm were as hectic as they could be. Burning in midnight oil is something I had heard for years, but could really "live it out" for the first time. Things are easing out, after the initial squeeze, because everyone is getting into the groove. A few ends are still untied, but things are here for the best.
I guess I am still becoming ambiguous in this post, which I will try not to.
Well, went off to a short trip to Palampur last week with a few friends, and had good fun this time around. Though the group was not what has always been, but nonetheless, it wasn't rolling back in any sense. Would love to have such trips around pretty frequently, if the time allows.
Guess, this should be enough for now. Will come back with details later.

Nothing different for today actually. Came back in the morning from Bihari's place, and just lazed around at home; did nothing constructive, though had a few options. Anyhow, will try and keep it alive somehow!

"From the times immemorial, the beginning of the dawn...."

That's how I used to start everything when I was a kid. And now I can realize how immaculate these words were, when it comes to one's our perceptions.

Anyhow, things are moving. (though they have been moving all the way!) Looking for a bright ray of hope coming in from a far end. Only matter of concern is, I am blind-folded. Can I smell the success? Can I make out good from bad? can I make it up? Can I? Or rather, will I?
Time decides! Or I'll decide!

Aah!

Yet another delay in updation here. But anyhow, that's not something which is worth mentioning anymore. And thats bcoz it has been a norm for quite some time now.
Anyhow, the days have been full of, I would say, happenings. Or I think I should call it incidents, rather than happenings.

Ever since I came back from PD sessions in Bangalore, I have been keeping low in terms of being decisive. And then, when it comes to keeping alive and kicking for all to see, it takes a toll every time you try for it. Hence it has been a cause of worry for a few days now, and the confusions have been aggravating just like anything. On the top of it all, the so called "fun-factor" has really brought down all the spirits.

Things have got.......awkward!

Don't know whether they are awkward or not, but its just that communication and perception differ a lot when it comes to different personalities. Hoping for the things to get a bit relaxed soon enuf, or else I'll have to work on things I can keep running. And the only thing is, I don't know what I can help to run!

Personality!

Now then, a long time yet again since I updated it last. Here I go again.
Things are similar to what they have been for a few months now. Startign SAP training, and then, a few PD sessions as well. And I guess I can mak a mark in them as well. Its just that I am not too sure whether I'll be able to sustain in this for a long time to come.

Now that I am in Bangalore for a week, I will get a chance to look at my own capabilities with a bird's eye view, and will be able to see whether I can do it or not. Just a week I guess.

And things are going to be a bit different from the enxt week on, I am sure. I will need to make sure I make decisions in the best interests of a few people.

If I may predict my own horoscope for the coming week, it would say that I am going to be in sheer confusion, and would be indulged in lots of heated and physco exchanges. I will have to look into money matters in a different way, and will have to make a choice soon.

Let's see which choice it is!

The Leela

Just came back an hour back from 'The Leela'. Twas nothing like Bangalore Leela. Infact, this was not even comparable to Taj Land's End or Muthoot Plaza! Though it had the best location possible - that on the top of a cliff, alongside the sea beach, but the ambience was just not meant to be like a 7 star. How can a 7 star be cheaper than a 5 star !
Well, the gathering was good. Had fun with the food, and the talks. Though sitting along side the pool, it made me feel nostalgic, and a rush of adrenaline went thru my spine! I wanted to swim, and reach my home, both at the same time. Not that I cud swim from here to Delhi, but anyhow!
And the client presentation tomorrow morning means I will need to have a night out tonight. Not that I would have cared much, but its good that we did not have a booze party tonight. Though I would have loved to blabber about a lot of issues if this presentation would not have been there tomorrow, there won't be much point in doing that tomorrow as it would be irrelevant tomorrow.
I just want to go away now. Maybe Bangalore, maybe Mumbai/Pune, or maybe Delhi. Wherever! I don't care. I am fed up of devising ways of killing my valuable time which I can use for constructive work as well. This new year shud see me at a place different than this.
For the best.

Taken for granted

I feel I am being taken for granted sometimes, when I don't wish to. That's what creates problems. Though I try to figure out the best way possible, but something or the other comes in the way to make me do rash things.
On other grounds, I am deciding on the training now, and looking out what could be the options. I know there are not many options, but who knows what comes out from where. Hopefully, I shud be in Delhi by the end of this month. This will work out from there, I am sure.
Been talking to quite a few people these days; and taking up lots of their tasks, but I know I can't do with due justice. Will try my level best though.

Fee-mails!

Wishlist

Now then, I saw Orkut asking me for my holiday wishlist.

I started wondering what it could be, but then I realised that there could be "N" number of things I would want, if given a chance.

To start with, what about putting all the things in place for the firm. Follow it up with a party with all the friends (this has been long overdue). Then getting an opportunity to meet all my friends once again, be it together or one by one. Then, I would love to attend all the functions coming up in next few months. The list would grow endless, but its just that I would be contended with this much as well.

Bas itna sa khwaab hai!
