Christmas Carols..!

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, .......

This Christmas wasn't any different either in this regard. Though it was quite interesting. The amazing party brought out the flavors which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. The hosts were superb; and so were the arrangements. As expected, I was glad to be present at such an occasion, having fun with friends.

Got to meet loads of people. Moreover, when I come to think of it, I was the only one "unemployed" in the party, which comprised of more than 25 guests. Made me feel a bit strange & awkward, but I had to console myself with the fact that only a couple of months are left for me to enter the much-acclaimed corporate world as well.

The new year is nearby, and there are loads and loads of plans being made everywhere; be it Kodaikanal, Munnar, B'lore, or infact, even Calicut (If some people decide to come over here). I really wonder whats up, and why I am unable to decide what exactly should I do.

Even the mails are becoming irregular now, and as the time passes by, it gives a degree of discomfort. Only consolation comes in the way of classes (which I rarely attend fully), movie breaks, and the waiting period, of the unknown.

Another Trip

This was yet another trip to B'lore, which ended in haste. Had to come back yet again, against all the wishes. Seems like just yesterday, when I landed there, and here I am, back to my campus, attending classes, and making the gud ol' presentations.

Seems like the next time I'll go to B'lore, I'll hav to do without Aasheesh, as his joining date is just around the corner. Yeah, "Just 'round the corner". Reminds me of "You've got mail". What a lovely movie. Can't help watching it again n again.

Now the, enjoyed a ton at B. Met almost every1. Apart from a bit of arbit stuff, rest all was cool. Had fun with Aa's friends as well. Hope all goes well.

Bangin' in Banglore

As is quite evident from the previous post I made a couple of hours ago, my quest to reach banglore was high enuf for me to reach there safely..but this was not all..much more was yet to come..

So, I reached banglore at noon, and called Tarun, but he already off to Electronic city, so I had to go to Ankur's place, where i left my luggage, and freshened up..had my first meal in 15 hrs, and left out for IIIT, where Tarun was meeting Deepika..quite unaware of the localities in banglore, I set off, without any knowledge how I would get to the place..Ankur asked to drop me at my destination, but a flat tyre ruined all such chances..I had to take lots of buses, shifting every now and then, to reach the destination in 2 hours time..

So, there I was, meeting Tarun & Deepika..had a gala time out there..time felt like flying, and i cudnt even know before the evening was over..now then, I was dying to meet Aasheesh...but he had gone to his relatives' place, which I didn't know where it was..I called up each n every one in banglore, who might hav known his whereabouts, but to no avail...I called up people at IIMB as well, but they were also having their exams..so, I went back with Tarun, to IISc..

Me and Tarun, like the gud ol' days, had a little chat..discussed everything under the sun...I went and met Deepa as well..twas strange feeling meeting her this time, unlike last time, when I had met her in IISc..I didnt know whether she would hav wanted to face me or not...a change in her attitude maybe..anyways, doesnt matter..this is itself is a different issue, and will take it some other day..

So, at night, me and tarun, roamed about in the nearby places as well, when suddenly Tarun's programme to go to Hyderabad came up..I wished he wud go, as it wud make him, and his sis in hyderabad better..his quest to go to hyderabad gave me a hint of my own self in relationships..

Come morning, and I went to MG Road, alongwith Deepa(who, as usual, was late)..and met Aasheesh there(at last!!)...Akshay and Varshney were also there..we spent a great time sitting out there at Barista, then at Queens, and again, in the evening at Barista..The time was flyin like anything, during my stay in banglore..i wonder why time can't pass by so soon when i m at IIMK..

Came back with Aasheesh to his place in the night.stayed there..met all the new acquaintances of Aasheesh..it reminded me of all the old days when everyone used to prepare for CAT..was a bit nostalgic as well..Aasheesh, as friendly as ever.!!

it has always been the case that me and aasheesh dont need to talk to each other to express ourselves..each of us know what the other one means to say, even without saying...

so, we slept..next morning, aasheesh went to office..and I headed back to IISc, to pick my bag up..reached there, by travelling for 2 hrs..took my baggage from Tarun's room..bid him adieu, and started back for electronic city..reached there by travelling for 2 hours again, and met Aasheesh and Deepika again..again, had fun..cant explain..these hours were the best ones.. with aasheesh n deepika around, I cudnt feel any better..

as the time wasn't enuf, I had to leave..said goodbye to Deepika (I still feel there was something to b said, dunno what..my intution)..and left with aasheesh..went to globus..did some shopping (just for the sake of keeping a banglore memento with me, all the time)..had dinner with aasheesh, and left off for the bus stand, for catching my bus back to IIMK.

I dont hav any words to say how much i cherish the time spent in banglore, be it with any sort of difficulties that came up...I look forward to go there as much as possible..lets see what happens..

Journey to Banglore

Now then, I am back from Banglore..Enjoyed as much as anyone cud hav..thx a ton to my fate, which caused hindrances at all points of time, to stop me from going to b'lore, and due to which, ultimately, the fun and satisfaction I gathered from this trip, is unexplainable..

So, where do I start..let me see..yeah i'll start from the point whn i decided to go to Banglore..ummm..well, that was a long time back though, when Aasheesh was about to reach banglore, it was when i decided that i'll go to b'lore asap..now then, my exams ended on 4th of August, after which I was free for some time.

now then, incidently, I talked to Deepika on 4th night, and decided it then and there, that i'll be going to banglore..Talked to Rana, about going on bikes to b'lore..he agreed..so did atul and harman..it pumped me up with joy..so much of excitement was on the cards..but alas, not for long..the topic of heavy rains came up, and everyone backed off from the plan of going on bikes..

devastated the program was, but not me..i had decided that i will go, and that was it..i went the other day to the city, to enquire about the buses..i had thought of it that if it comes to that, i'll set out on a bike alone as well..i know kuch an idiot i am..

anyways, that wasn't to be..i was just talking to ankur, when it came out that he also is planning to go to b'lore the other day..another ray of hope enlightened me..i asked him to come on bike, and he agreed..i did all the arrangements, packed everything, and when we were all set to leave on bike, firstly, it rained, and then, in the afternoon, the bike wasn't available..so, it came down to going by bus itself, which didnt matter, bcoz my ultimate aim was to go to banglore, and not by what means..

all the way thru, people were asking us not to go, but i had made up my kind, to do it, come what may..

the difficulties were not all at this point of time..we reached for taking the bus at 9 at night, but it wasn't available uptil 10:30..coming to the extremes, the bus broke down in the middle of the night in the midst of the forest..a journey which could hav taken not more than 6 hours, took 15 hours for us..

what a horrible journey it was, but i never felt bad about it, bcoz all the way thru, i was just thinking and pondering over the gud times I was going to spend in banglore.

And at last, against all odds, i was in banglore on the strike of noon, on 7th of August..
